Autentica rappresentazione di guerrieri a cavallo che corrono nel deserto in mezzo ad una tempesta di sabbia. In primo piano e messi diagonalmente i cavalli che danno il senso di profondità e di ritmo scandito dagli scudi dei tre guerrieri in veste bianca mentre le lance sono le linee forza della composizione. Da notare come il cielo sia coperto da nubi di sabbia realizzata con colore spatolato in rilievo, dove spicca il sole rosso fuoco. La sabbia che si leva durante il galoppo, riflette il colore del sole dando maggior forza e dinamicità alla velocità e al caldo del deserto. Due piccole palme accennate sul confine definiscono il primo piano della corsa e il secondo piano dove ciao sono le dune del deserto. Fondamentale è come usa il colore, non si limita ad una mera rappresentazione del deserto, ma inserisce ciò che è anima del deserto: i cavalli arabi dal collo armonioso.

In the foreground and placed diagonally the horses give the sense of depth, and marked rhythm by the three shields of the three warriors in white robes and the spears are the strength lines of the composition. Note how the sky is covered by sand clouds achieved by a spactulated matter, from which the fiery red sun emerges. The sand that rises during the gallop reflects the color of the sun giving greater strength to the dynamism, speed and heat of the desert. Two small palm trees hinted at a distance define the first plan of the race and the second plan where the desert dunes emerge. Fundamental is how he uses color, the artist is not limited to a real representation of the desert, but inserts what is the soul of the desert: the Arabian horses with harmonious necks.
